Padding along on the fresh grass, Diago offered his sister the use of his body for leaning. The injuries afflicted to her, he couldn't even begin to grasp. How could one attack so viciously? Even though he himself was by no means delecate, he would never strike another tiger without serious call for it. What had his sister done to piss off the large brute?
Hearing her growl with pain, he awoke from his thoughts. "We're here, mi hermana. Easy now." Offering her more support, he eased her to the ground as gently as a turtle dove landing upon it's perch.

Quickly Kane entered the terra, thoughts blurred with bothersom thoughts and worry. He quickened his gait, until he reached the home of the gentlers. Never had he seen them, though he had heard many things about him. His gaze fell upon Diago as his train of thought dwindled away. 'How is she?' he asked with worry.
'You needn't worry.' a voice spoke from behind them, he stepped before them. The gaunt figure looked anything but great, his features were tapered, muzzle gray with age. Though he did not look attracitve, nor great, he knew his things. 'What happened?' he asked hoarsely, peering down at the injured tigress.

He hessitated a moment, allowing his sister time to reply. When she stayed silent, he took it upon himself. Locking worried eyes with the gentle creature, he spoke softly. "She was attacked. A stranger- no.. An Outcast- attacked her. If there is anymore to the story, I do not know. I wasn't there when the event took it's place in time."
Then, he acknowledged Kane with a warm smile, as if to reassure him. However, Diago's mind was swarming will ill thoughts. Thoughts of justice. Thoughts of revenge!

Palla bounded into the land of the Healers, following closely behind Diago and his injured sister. Although she had ran the entire journey, her heart beat slowly, as if she had been dozing in a meadow all day. But her eyes blazed with the fires of the sun, burning with passion and fear for Kida's life. Her long, elegant tail was tucked between her legs and her ears were drooped. She gently padded over to Kida, and began to lick her wounds without hesitation. When the bleeding had stopped, she looked the other tigress over, satisfied at least a bit, and went to Diago's side. "I smell the siberian on her. It's familiar....I don't know why." She said. Troubled thoughts filled her mind, racking it to remember it. Flashes of sight and smell and soft fur met her conciousness. A wriggling kit, nursing from her mother's belly, a large shadow, that smell....

He tossed a quick look over to Palla. Seeing her care for his sister calmed him slightly. Atleast there were some pure-hearted beings in this world. Smiling warmly, his expression became shallow at her words. He wanted to say something to her.. But what? Obviously she was trying to recall the identity of the memory. Puzzled himself, he turned his attention back to the healer. "Is there anything you can do for her?"

Palla blinked her chestnut eyes in confusion. It was so blurry, as if from her childhood, but the scent was there, in her memories. It would help them find the siberian and gain revenge on what he did to Kida. But somewhere in her heart, the tigress wanted to meet this siberian and find out why she knew his scent before they taught him a lesson. She knew this was hardly an option at all.
Turning her attention back to Kida and the Healer, she too waited for him to say something. Was it something he would do alone? Would it take long? Was it something we could do for her? Did we have to leave? Questions invaded her mind, blocking away the memories of the scent. Palla gently shook her head back and forth, trying to clear her mind.

Another tiger walked calmly into the area, her fur was almost completely white, and as she raised her head and sniffed the air with her mouth open it was easy to tell that she was very old. Her teeth were almost completely worn down, and her gums were dark. Her form was slender and underfed, though not so skinny as Curador. She turned to Palla and smiled, "That is because he smells a little like you, my dear." Then she moved forward towards the other old tiger and rubbed shoulders in acknowledgement, afterwards she moved to sniff the wounds that Kida had accumulated. "We can try our best, but no promises can be made, even the tiniest scratch can harbour infection, and those are not tiny scratches." Then she turned to Curador, "I shall get the herbs and medicines, you see what you can do here." She smiled at them all, then turned and walked back the way she had come, seeming to disappear even with her oddly coloured coat.

Palla raised a quizzical eyebrow, and promptly lifted a paw to smell herself to make sure. The elder tigress was right! With a gasp, she quickly set the mit down, her tail twitching with agitation and confusion. It all fit together. The memories of kithood, the older cub, the smell that hung on Kida's coat. The young tigress's heart began to pump faster. The healer's realm blurred before her chestnut eyes, and the ground flew up to meet her in darkness. Palla was a kit again. She curled up next to her mother, mewling affectionately. Her eyes blinked often, as eyesight had just come to her. A shadow fell over the kit, and she rolled over to see what it was. A cub, about 6 weeks older, peered down at Palla, purring. He was huge, bigger than Palla ever remembered being. The smell wafted into her nose, sparking the memory of the scent on Kida's coat. "Mama, is this cub my sister?" The cub had spoken. His firy orange eyes blazed with passion, and his voice rumbled lower than most cubs his age. Then the soothing voice of Palla's mother entered the dream. "Yes, Dae. You're a big brother." A look of triumph passed over the cub's face as he purred with delight. Then the smell of fear wafted from her mother's fur. Another shadow had come. With a pulse of terror, Palla rolled and saw a huge siberian male tiger looming above her. "A female?" The voice was even deeper than Dae's. "You bore me a female? Rubbish. I won't take her."

"Curado, hurry up now and lick those wounds clean, you too young one. They won't clean themselves you know." The voice was carried by the wind from quite a distance, but soon the female healer stepped back into view. She carried a roughly woven basket, that looked as though it had seen better days. She put it down and explained to Palla, "Humans made it and monkeys stole it, they grew bored with it quickly, but Curado and I found it and have put it to good use."
She stuck her nose into the basket and came out chewing what smelled like a leaf and perhaps a few berries. Once those were a paste she moved forwards and smeared a little over Kida's lips. She spat the rest out further away and once again explained her actions to Palla, "Those will keep her out while we tend to the wounds. Don't lean in too close now, the fumes will knock you out, hopefully she will reflexively lick her lips, it will effect her more thoroughly then." After this she reached into the basket once more and pulled out quite a few leaves, offering no explanation of why the herbs hadn't affected her. The leaves were placed carefully on the worst of Kida's cuts and she used her paw to plaster mud on top of them.

'is brain trailed quickly in thought, occuli closed. He was off in his dictionary of cures, though opened them as he heard the femme explaining her own cure. He growled silently beneath his breath, so that it not be heard. With ample power, his gaunt frame moved forward, orbs searching the wounds and the medicine that had been applied. He looked up, thinking once more. Kissers parted, emmitting his crackled vocals to them. 'Now, all of you must leave. She needs ample rest, time to recover. One of you may stay with her if you please.' He gazed at them for a moment then added, 'Who shall it be?'

her light eyes looked around at the others, Kida would be important to them, but some had things to do, life must go on. "If you wish to stay, but need to be elsewhere, then do not worry, she is our only patient right now, and at least one of us will always be at her side." A smile brightened her old face as she remembered a deal the healers had worked out with many other tigers, "Of course food is an issue for one who is healing, Curado and I are getting on in age and though death seems far, our skills as hunters have gone down that road awhile back. Could one of you bring back some meat?" It was a simple enough question, though some had balked at it before, she hoped that these tigers would see the reasoning behind it.
