Copper colored femme say at the edge of the lake. The sun was just coming up and she was here before the first rays hit. She looked down at the edge of the rock, gazing into the endless pool of murky water. Her reflection was barely visible, a golden blur in the lake of hidden depths. Akasha didn't even know where she was, what she was doing here or how she got here. She travelled last night and it was so tiring and dark she slept where she fell, her mind was drifting at this newfound peace. A kingfisher was resting on a branch, twittering to his mate, crickets were faintly heard and the brush of wind on trees and dirt made a lazy tune. Akasha lay down gazing down at the blur in the water, her hazel eyes baring down firey into its hidden depths. She sighed and lay down as the first rays hit the lake

Antigone popped her head out of the bushes to get a closer look. It was a tigress, an adult. The little one sighed, blinking her wide blue eyes. There was no one even close to her age around here. With a twitch of her still-growing tail, she toddled out of hiding, unafraid of the other feline not far away. Antigone smiled. There was a dragonfly, buzzing around just over the water. Distracted from all other thoughts, she pulled into a crouch, eyeing a log floating in the black depths. It was perfect. She could leap into the air, get a good bat at the bug, and land on the log without getting a drop of water on her russet coat. The plan didn't go so well. As she jumped into the air, her clumsy little paw got caught in a root. It tripped her up, and she landed with a loud splash in the water. The dragonfly flew for his life. But the little cub just laughed and laughed and laughed, sputtering as she paddled around in circles. The water was cool and soothing and she soon found that the log was hollow. With a purr, she crawled into it and poked her head out one end, looking around for that pesky dragonfly.

The white tigress saw a small figure of a cub a sweet smile spread her maw she gave a small purr/roar to the cub, "what are you doing here all alone?" she said her eyes looked worried, "is every thing ok?" the cub looked like the one she had lost in the fire that killed her clan, though she knew it was not her it still made her happy, happy to see something in the deranged world look so familar, yet so different.

Kaumudi rested her large body, falling to the floor under a large bush and yawning showing large pearly canines. she saw the femme across the way and the small cub by the waters edge, but neither had any exciting prospect. Kaumudi rested her head on her paws and began to doze off, but stayed alert [/font]
